If you're hoping to build a stylish mobile website but you don't have great technical skills then don't worry. ActiveMobi offers several services to help you achieve your mobile website dream. You can even produce a website for free, allowing visitors from around the world to visit. There is a bounty of apps and widgets to choose from too, making activeMobi a flexible and potentially very cheap and exciting prospect.

There are three packages to choose from here. The first is the free option, which provides users with the tools to create a stylish mobile website easily. The dashboard is simple to use, often requiring you to simply drag and drop images, videos and widgets in the position you want them to appear once your site goes live. There are, however, several advantages to paying for the Mobi Plus service, which comes in at just $8 per month, or $65 for the year. One good reason to upgrade is that a paid package removes the ads from your website. This is useful if you're not keen on 3rd party companies advertising on your site. Mobi Plus also allows you to take advantage of the auto-redirect script, meaning (in layman's terms) that your visitors will automatically go to your mobile website when they type in the desktop site's URL. Paying for your site also means you can have a unique domain name (rather than having the .activemobi suffix), which sets a certain professional standard to any visitor. Both of these packages come with the easy to use builder tool, professionally designed templates and over 20 widgets, ranging from interactive maps to click-to-call services.

If you don't feel you've got the eye for design then you can pay a professional team of web designers to develop a mobile website for you. This is cheaper than you might expect, under $400, and ought to provide you with a site that reflects your organizational ethos. The Mobi Together package also includes a 1 year Mobi Plus plan, which is worth $65 and you'll receive premium help and support. In terms of getting help using ActiveMobi, we were pleased to see an informative blog being used. There were also updates to download and tutorials to read or watch. We found these very useful, even though the dashboard is pretty intuitive. You can also contact the support team or check the knowledge centre for more information should you need it. The website is active on Facebook, Twitter and Google+, should you be inclined to follow their activities.

We were pretty impressed by Active Mobi. Their customer support wasn't just for show, their site was well organized and the software was easy to use. There are enough options here to keep your customers satisfied, without the process becoming over complicated. With a free package there's nothing to lose, but we feel it's probably worth the extra few dollars to upgrade to Mobi Plus.
